Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
Teachix AI is a product of G.I 2 A.I LLC ("Teachix," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our learning platform, and the services we deliver to organizations and individual learners.
We wrote this in plain language on purpose. If something is unclear, ask us at info@teachix.ai.
1. Who this policy covers
You may interact with Teachix in one of three ways. Each is handled a little differently.
Website visitors. People who browse our site, read our content, or fill out a form.
Client organizations. Companies, schools, and other organizations that hire Teachix to build and deliver training programs. When we process learner information on a client's behalf, the client owns that data and decides how it is used. We act on the client's instructions.
Learners. People who take a course on the Teachix platform, either through their organization or by enrolling directly.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Name, email, phone, job title, and organization when you request a consultation, enroll in a course, or contact us
- Account credentials when you create a login
- Course activity: lessons completed, quiz answers, scores, workbook entries, and questions you ask the AI tutor or chatbot
- Payment information, processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
- Content your organization provides for course creation, including interviews, documents, and subject-matter material
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and time on page
- Cookies and similar tools, including advertising and analytics pixels from providers such as Meta, LinkedIn, and Google. You can control these in your browser settings.
Information from third parties
- Professional profile information from platforms such as LinkedIn when you connect with us there
- Enrollment or roster data supplied by your organization
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Deliver and improve the courses and services you or your organization purchased
- Personalize instruction, including how the AI tutor responds to your questions
- Issue certificates and keep records of completion
- Respond to your requests and provide support
- Send service updates and, with your consent, marketing messages
- Measure how our website and advertising perform
- Meet legal, security, and accounting obligations
How AI uses your information. The AI tutor, chatbot, and avatar respond to your inputs to teach you. Your course activity may be used to adjust what you see next. We do not use one client's proprietary course content to train models used for other clients.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not sell or rent learner data to anyone, for any purpose.
- We do not use learner performance data to make employment or admissions decisions. Any such use is the responsibility of your organization and is outside this policy.
- We do not share your organization's course content with other clients.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the business: hosting, video delivery, payments, email, customer relationship tools, project management, analytics, and advertising. They may only use your data to provide services to us.
Your organization, if you enrolled through an employer or school. They can see your progress, scores, and completion status.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent harm.
Business transfers. If Teachix is acquired or merged, your information may transfer with the business. We will tell you if that happens.
We will name our current core service providers on request.
6. Data ownership and portability for client organizations
Your organization owns the course content it provides and the learner records generated in its program. If the relationship ends, we will export your learner records and course assets in a standard format within 30 days of request, then delete our copies according to Section 8.
Student records and FERPA
When Teachix serves a college, university, or school, we handle student education records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We operate as a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest, under the institution's direct control, and only for the purposes the institution authorizes. Specifically:
- We use student records only to deliver the program the institution contracted for
- We do not disclose student records to any third party except as the institution directs or the law requires
- The institution keeps full ownership and control of its student records at all times
- We do not use student records for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose
- We return or destroy student records at the end of the engagement, as the institution directs
- We maintain access controls and security practices appropriate for education records
These commitments are also written into our client agreements with educational institutions.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing messages at any time
- Object to or limit certain uses of your data
To exercise these rights, email info@teachix.ai. We will respond within 30 days. If you are a learner enrolled through an organization, we may direct your request to that organization, because they control your data.
You can opt out of marketing emails using the link in any message. You can control cookies through your browser.
8. How long we keep it
- Website inquiries: up to 24 months after last contact
- Learner accounts and course records: for the life of the account plus 3 years, or as directed by your organization
- Certificates and completion records: kept longer so credentials can be verified, unless you ask us to remove them
- Financial records: as required by law
9. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor security reviews to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and your organization as required by law.
10. Children
Our services are for adults and for learners enrolled by an organization. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 without the consent and direction of a client organization or a parent or guardian.
11. Where your data lives
We operate in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
12. Changes to this policy
We will post updates here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or through the platform.
